    Bob sounds like he is arguing for free form RPG, instead of arguing against D&D4e. A rules based RPG is just that, rules based. You take what they give you and make something within it. Free form has no rules. You just make shit up and run with it.

    As awesome as the freedom to be wildly imaginative is, the problem with free form comes with conflict resolution. With no rules, who decides who’s imagination rules?

    Which is why being a storyteller is the best form of free form RPG. I think I’ve heard some of Lejon’s free form RPG games in the form of No One S.E.L.F.

    Nomad, in actuality, No One SELF is just a free-form load of brain-droppings that I’ve been releasing in a painfully slow and non-deliberate manner. In fact, I probably should go back and listen to those again so that I can get the next part written.
