I have to say I was also skeptical about it, appeal-wise. I don’t agree with the remark made in the video that “it’s unnatural to pull out your phone in the grocery store and google an item” – we see people doing that all the time. (Can’t remember if I said this in the cast, so sorry if I’m being redundant.)

But then, I don’t have an internet-ready phone, either. I don’t feel the need to be that constantly connected, but I recognize that others do. And others also think it’d be way cool to look like Tom Cruise (in Minority Report, I mean, not jumping on Oprah’s couch…)

The appeal is that you don’t have to pull out the phone to look things up. You can just be looking at the item and, boom, the information you wanted about it pops up.

Maybe I just don’t get it… What is the appeal? I have a net ready phone. It sits on my hip. Sorry I just don’t get the appeal.

Hola, Welcome back to the cast Mrs. Fondue.

Love this technology idea. I am a huge fan of the instant access to data. I will be the first in line for the direct neural interface to the web.

On other notes, I am glad to see the continuation of the cast. I was a little distraught after reading the last post. Keep it up… I don’t even have an iTunes account to comment with. I will work on that sometime this week if not I will try and get it done on my travel days.
