And then the kazoos kicked in.

AAAAAAH.

But I'll put up with them to find out what happens to Mr. Vanamonde, erm, I mean... *evil grin*

Future parts to No One SELF will be written, recorded, and dropped into the feed... Sure, writing them has to happen first... Baby steps...

I'd say it's got a promising beginning, especially for your first such endeavor.

First off, the recording quality (from what I could hear) is very good. Far better than the podcast (echo, heavy breathing into the mic).

Secondly, I have to say I think your narration of the story is comfortably above-average. There's a podcast that I listen to -- and the host is very amiable, his content is pretty consistently good -- his reading of submitted stories is deplorable. I've actually had to skip stories. It's that bad.

My only concern is raised by the end of this episode. In regards to the technology. I just don't want it to degrade to deus ex machina. But that's a pitfall that I think you won't fall in.

All that said, well done, and I'm looking forward to your future creations.
