Mrs. Fondue joins Lejon again this week for a discussion about how writers build worlds and create societies. If you’re into writing, or you’re interested in the process, you’ll find this excellent food for thought.
Pimps of the Geek:
Mrs. Fondue: Charles de Lint
Lejon: Monty Python’s Flying Circus
The title really says it all. Mrs. Fondue is back again, filling in for Bob while he’s recovering from being an important person out of his home and in the Midwest.
This week, the discussion rolled back to comments made by our long-time fan Gottoon and his lovely lady, about adding more female friendly content. So, here it is, Geeking with Girls!
Pimps of the Geek:
Mrs. Fondue: Confessions of a Jane Austin Addict, Rude Awakenings of a Jane Austin Addict by Laurie Viera Rigler
Lejon: Tales Before Tolkien
Deviating this week, we are pleased to bring you another diatribe on our thoughts of advancing technologies, and our spin on them. This ep discusses the Emotiv Epoc, contact lens computer displays, brain wave manipulation, and the usual banter.
~ The Management wishes to apologize for the poor audio quality of the episode, and we point the finger of blame directly at Lejon de la Juan Fondue. Measures have been taken to flog him thoroughly and douse him in brain-bleach. ~
This is the third, and final, interview in our World Fantasy 2009 interview series.
We spoke with Michelle M. Welch, an Arizona fantasy author about her works of fiction, and about the recent anthology of music related speculative fiction that she edited, the Theme and Variations Anthology.
For all you Touchers out there, Bob will be back in our next episode. We know you miss him. Tell him so in the FORUM.
